Kurt's Marine Competition Center of Brick NJ originated in 1980 with engine builder/offshore racer Kurt Berger. For almost 3 decades, Kurt ran the business with the primary focus being the world of offshore powerboat racing & performance pleasure boat enthusiasts. In 2008, Kurt sold the business to long time business associate & Wehrlen Bros. Marina owner Larry Wehrlen, who now runs Bandit Performance Marine with his son Andrew Wehrlen.
