We build two different flat bottom boats, one is a standard flat bottom, & the other is one that is our own original design, the Blazer Sport, which features a long rake. We also build a boat that has a 5%V bottom.
Blazer Commercial Boat Manufacturing was launched in October of 1997 by Phil & Calvin Moss. Our boating experience goes all the way back to when Phil, his dad Ira, & granddad Tom, were fishing guides on Current River in the early 50’s. Phil was also a tour guide using the 24’x36” wooden Jon boats at Big Springs State Park in Van Buren, Missouri for several years. Calvin, who is in charge of the actual manufacturing, has been on river & lake boats since a toddler. The Blazer aluminum boat designs have evolved from the many years experience of Tom, Ira, Phil, & Calvin. Being located in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks, we are 20 minutes from Current River, Clearwater Lake & Black River, & an hour from Lake Wappapello. We have an unlimited variety of waters to demonstrate our new ideas for aluminum boats. Innovative boat designs & options are continually being created.
