Glastron Boats Celebrates 55 Years at 2012 Dealer Conference. Rec Boat Holdings announces the new 2012 Glastron line-up celebrating their 55th anniversary with more than 70 North American dealers & International distributors from across 14 countries. Dealers & distributors were presented the new line as well as new business programs, industry outlook & overall state-of-the-business for Rec Boat Holdings & the Glastron brand. The exciting news for 2012 is the launch of the new GT 160, a provocative & modern design that uses cues from the original GT of the late 1960’s. The 16-footer is designed to command the waterway with eye-popping graphics & design lines appealing to a broad audience of nostalgic boaters. There will be 4 different models designated as "Collector’s Limited Edition" boats, only 55 of each being produced for this model year. The Collector’s Limited Editions, available in 4 different color schemes, feature many upgrades from the standard model including custom interior, a new 3 dimensional gauge design, racing seats with fiberglass inserts & matching custom trailer with mag wheels.
