ZF Mathers pioneered the development of single-lever marine controls and introduced the industry's first multi-station electronic control system. The ZF Mathers product line, supported by a worldwide sales and service network, includes CruiseCommand. MicroCommander, MasterCommand, ClearCommand, pneumatic systems and shaft brakes.

MicroCommander has been installed on more than 40,000 single- and twin-engine vessels, making it the most asked for control system in the marine industry. A single-lever controls both clutch and throttle for each engine. Built-in speed/shift sequence protection allows rapid maneuvering from full ahead to full astern without risking damage to the drive train or engine. Standard features include five-station capability, station-in-command indicators, easy station transfer, neutral start interlock, high and low idle speeds, an external alarm interface and audible and visual indicators. Options include engine synchronization, a trolling actuator and automatic power selector.
