Ocean Equipment is the manufacturer of NavPod. We started building NavPod in 1991 as a way to mount basic sailing instruments onboard for Catalina Yachts. Then bigger & better LCD's used for navigation exploded on the market for the next 2 decades. Today, we are standard equipment on all major sailboat builders world-wide. We provide all of the major Marine Electronics manufacturers a way to mount their products on boats. PowerPods were later developed for mounting of Radar, Chart Plotter or Fish Finders on Powerboats.
