About Sorensen Marine

Sorensen Marine specializes in sales, service and parts for Tohatsu and Nissan Outboards. We also provide maintenance and repair services for Evinrude, Johnson, Force and even the old Chrysler Outboards. Sorensen Marine is also the original home of the Sorensen Boat, a recognized tender brand. Back in 1969, our shop was called "The Boathouse". In 1980, George Sorensen designed and the business started selling, the Sorensen tender. Thus, the business changed its name to Sorensen Marine, Inc. Our business is our life and our many years in the industry demonstrates our commitment to providing comprehensive and outstanding service to the owners of small to mid-sized boats.

We specialize in Tohatsu, Nissan, Evinrude, Johnson, Force & Chrysler outboard motors. We carry and/or can order parts on all outboards, including electric outboard motors. Call us for information on the various new & used models we have in stock.

Our technician, Tim Sorensen has over 45 years of experience and takes pride in his work. Customers frequently tell us that our outboard repair and maintenance service surpasses their experiences at other shops. From the beginning, our commitment has always been to service what we sell and to stand behind the products we represent. This simple but foundational principle has served to create a reputation we are proud to maintain.

Outstanding service and very good value.

Tim is a no-nonsense kind of guy and knows his stuff. I brought in an Boston Whaler with a 25 HP outboard that had been overhauled and set up by someone else yet did not run well. With vacation only a week and a half away, I was very concerned. Tim said leave it and he'd give it a try and I went home to worry. Four days later he called to say the motor was ready. When I got there Tim took his time to describe what he did, why he did it and what may be necessary in the future. He is very through. The engine now runs like it should, easy starting, smooth running. The bill was very reasonable for the amount of service and I will be returning to Sorensen Marine for my future outboard needs.
